Vineyards along the Wine Route

Tuscany

The Wine Route

Four production areas, historic wineries and rolling hills: a route for lovers of wine and beauty.

This route winds for the most part through the province of Livorno, crossing into the Pisan hinterland, from the Colline Metallifere to the island of Elba. Along this stretch of the Etruscan Coast some of the most prestigious Tuscan and Italian wines are produced.

We are talking about wines such as Ornellaia and Sassicaia and many other fine labels such as those of Guado al Tasso, Biserno and Val di Cornia. Lovers of the nectar of the gods can set out on a route marked by four production areas: Bolgheri Doc, the Elba Doc area, the Montescudaio district and the Val di Cornia Doc production area.

The whole route leads to the discovery of a land rich in natural resources, with the sea, the islands, luxuriant vegetation and carefully tended crops that give life to typical products of great quality.
